CAST

CAST is a polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA)-based 3D printing material specially developed with added plasticizers for producing burnable models used in casting processes. Thermogravimetric analysis performed in a dynamic air atmosphere shows that when burned at approximately 405°C, the ash content of the printed object is below 0.01%.

This extremely low ash content makes CAST filament ideal for producing burnable master models. Now, FDM 3D printer owners can easily produce master models using REC CAST and economically supply foundries with the parts they need.

Printing with CAST is slightly more challenging compared to ABS, but with sufficient experience and care, extraordinary results can be achieved.
