HIPS

HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene) is a special 3D printing material with high impact resistance that offers ABS-like properties. Although it has mechanical characteristics similar to ABS, it does not absorb moisture, providing a more stable usage. It is also highly suitable for mechanical processes such as sanding, cutting, and drilling.

One of the most notable features of HIPS is its solubility in citrus-based solvents. This makes it an excellent support material, especially for dual-extruder printers. Support parts are easily cleaned after printing.

Its smooth surface also makes it highly suitable for processes like silicone molding. HIPS is an ideal solution for both functional prototypes and projects requiring detailed surface finishing.
