Laser Scanning

Laser Scanning Service

Laser scanning is a non-contact 3D measurement technology that digitizes the surfaces of parts quickly and with high precision. At RE-PROJE, we offer industrial laser scanning services on-site or in the workshop using our portable laser scanners. This technology provides fast and reliable solutions for scanning large and complex parts in detail.

Laser Scanning Service

Laser scanning is a contactless 3D measurement technology that quickly and highly accurately transfers the surfaces of parts into a digital environment. At RE-PROJE, we offer industrial laser scanning services on-site or in the workshop with our portable laser scanners. This technology provides fast and reliable solutions for detailed scanning of large and complex parts.

How Does Laser Scanning Work?

The laser beam is reflected on the surface of the part and 3D point clouds are generated by sensors. The obtained data is used for creating CAD models, quality control, and deformation analysis.

Advantages of Laser Scanning

  • High-speed data acquisition: Ideal especially for large and complex parts.
  • Micron-level accuracy: Detailed measurements can be made.
  • On-site and workshop measurement: Portable laser scanning solutions.
  • Wide application area: Automotive, defense, energy, and machinery sectors.
  • Measurement volume up to 60 meters: Scanning capability in large areas with tracker systems.

  • Wide-area laser scanning solutions for yacht and shipbuilding sectors

Would You Like to Consult?

Contact us for your industrial laser scanning needs; we provide customized solutions and detailed technical support.

  • What is the difference between laser scanning and optical scanning?
Laser scanning offers high-speed measurement for larger and outdoor parts, while optical scanning collects precise data for small and detailed parts using structured light technology.
  • For which sizes of parts is laser scanning suitable?
It is ideal for medium and large-sized parts; optical scanning is preferred for small parts.
  • What is the measurement volume (scanning area)?
With our tracker system laser scanning devices, we can measure up to 60 meters. This provides comprehensive data for large industrial facilities and machines.
  • Is on-site measurement possible with a portable laser scanner?
Yes, we perform fast and accurate measurements on production sites with our portable devices, providing time and cost advantages.
  • In which formats are laser scanning data delivered?
Data is usually delivered in STL, OBJ surface formats. Additionally, detailed quality control reports are prepared with solid model (Solid CAD) creation, CAD comparisons, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) applications.
  • How is laser scanning service pricing determined?
Pricing depends on part size, complexity, accuracy, and reporting needs. Solutions for single parts or serial production are available.
